NCHEC Executive Director Receives the 2019 Distinguished Fellow Award from SOPHE
Under Linda Lysoby's leadership, NCHEC has excelled, experienced significant growth, and reached many notable and lasting milestones.
According to James F. McKenzie, Ph.D., MCHES®, and a previous recipient of this distinguished award, "Linda's ability to work with diverse individuals both inside and outside of our profession is truly unmatched. She has made a significant imprint on the positive growth and development of the Health Education and Promotion profession over the last 17 years."
Ms. Lysoby's contribution to the profession began after a successful career as a Respiratory Therapist and then as a Health Promotion and Wellness Manager at Grandview Hospital in Sellersville, PA. During this time, she obtained the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) credential. Since 2002, Ms. Lysoby has served as the NCHEC Executive Director. Under her leadership, NCHEC has excelled, experienced significant growth, and reached many notable and lasting milestones.
