Judy Mastrangelo is a world renowned artist and author, especially known for her depictions of the Fairy Realm.  Her paintings follow in the fine art tradition of the "Artists of the Golden Age of Illustration."  This "MYSTICAL FAIRIES" book illustrates the world of elves and fairies as magical and spiritual beings who can inspire and uplift one to higher realms.

Judy often shows these beings as radiant entities, having an inner light, with sparkling auras.  They glow like spiritual angels, having butterfly wings rather than angelic eagle wings.

Her piece entitled "FOREST SPIRIT" illustrates Earth, "RAINBOW SPIRIT" depicts Air, "FLOWER SPIRIT" greeting the sun illustrates Fire, and her "HEALING SPIRIT," rising from the ocean, portrays Water.  They each show the colors of the 7 chakras, which are the same colors of the rainbow.

Judy loves writing poems to go with her artwork and describing her feelings about the Fairy World. The artwork for her paintings has been tremendously inspired by great artists of the past such as Leonardo da Vinci of the Italian Renaissance, and John William Waterhouse of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.

Each of her paintings manifests her deep personal feelings.  In her "EARTH MOTHER" piece, she depicts the beautiful Mother Earth who protects our amazing planet as she holds it lovingly in her arms, and is surrounded by various forms of teeming life. Her hope is that her art and writings will inspire all to strive to keep our beautiful planet healthy and pure.
