Glenn St John-Colgan Appointed Chairman of Hampshire and IOW branch of Institute of Directors

SOUTHAMPTON, U.K. - March 12, 2019 - PRLog -- Glenn brings considerable experience to the role, versed as he is in international commercial activity, as a  result of over 25 years as a director across both the private and public sectors. He plans to use this experience to continue the work of the Institute in inspiring business and supporting directors in the local area. He had the following to say when learning of his appointment:

"I am delighted to be appointed as the Chair for Hampshire and IoW branch and very much look forward to continuing the great work the committee and our Ambassadors started in 2018. Shortly, we will be publishing our exciting agenda for 2019/20 and also calling for expressions of interest of additional Ambassadors, from across the business sectors and expertise of the county, to further support the IOD in reaching a wider audience within the region.

I would like to thank Geraint, my predecessor, for his support, along with Polly, Lesley and my colleague Ambassadors, for all they have done in shaping the branch."

In the role of chairman, Glenn will be overseeing the activities of the branch and providing a point of contact for members in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. He will also seek to broaden the membership through his work with the committee and the Ambassador programme, as well as attendance at regional events.

Glenn is excited at what the next three years will bring and is looking forward to working hard for the members of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight branch. He is happy to hear from members directly on chair.hants@iod.net
