Sacred Heart School's Director of Guidance and College Counseling recognized by College Board

KINGSTON, Mass. - March 11, 2019 - PRLog -- Sacred Heart School (www.sacredheartkingston.com), a private, Catholic, co-educational school in Kingston for students in preschool through grade 12, takes great pleasure in announcing that Susan Gallitano, Director of Guidance and College Counseling, has been recognized as an exemplary Professional School Counselor for the 2019 College Board Counselor Recognition Program.

Gallitano, who has been at her post with Sacred Heart for more than 25 years, was nominated for the honor for her praiseworthy work as a Professional School Counselor.

As a token of appreciation, Gallitano, a long time Sagamore Beach resident who recently moved to Plymouth, received a lapel pin and a letter of recognition during National School Counseling Week from the College Board. In addition, she will be profiled on the College Board website.

"It's an honor to highlight the important work of innovative, results-oriented counselors who are committed to student success and opportunity," according to Lorraine Hastings, College Board Vice President, Counselor Community Engagement.
