Former surgeon and successful BUPA business strategist set to drive forward a vision for a new generation of employee healthcare solutions
Amit began his career as a highly successful trained surgeon before moving on to gain valuable experience as a high-level business strategist. Amit's most recent roles include Director of New Ventures for Bupa, he was responsible for incubating, testing and scaling innovative and compelling business opportunities, as well as driving the digital transformation of the core business. This followed two years as Bupa UK's Strategy and Development Director, where he was the driving force behind the business's growth strategy, delivering organic development through innovation and strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Bupa, Amit was Strategy Consultant at LEK, a top tier strategy consulting firm, where he advised Fortune 500 companies and private equity investors on growth strategy and M&A. He has also provided consultancy services to HRH The Duke of York, joining him on over 300 official engagements in the UK and overseas.
