PRLog -- Stichting Bite Rite instituted a brushing program at an orphanage in Katatura, Klein Windhoek, Namibia. This was on Sunday 17 February 2019. At the orphanage 28 children of various ages ranging from 6 months to 8 years reside. A house mother operates the orphanage and her missionary son "China" introduced us to it. All of these children have no families and were abandoned, some of them were HIV infected babies out casted from their communities. The orphanage consist of two separate dwellings where the children sleep and eat, an outside creche for learning and there is also a recreational area where they play. The Bite Rite Foundation provided these children with toothbrushes and toothpastes and a brushing program where the children's teeth were coloured with disclosing tablets and taught how to brush, under the instruction of Dr Gercheon Wicomb and Dr Varnia Wicomb. Donations in the form of food, toiletries and a small gift was also arranged for the children. It was obvious that these children were in need of love, as we all were overwhelmed by the amount of hugs and love we received upon visiting them.
