Two World Of Money Mogul Teams Tie for 1st Place

2019 Global Economic Symposium at the Boston Federal Reserve, Boston, MA

NEW YORK - Feb. 18, 2019 - PRLog -- The World of Money proudly announces the first 1st place tie for our Moguls who traveled to Boston to present during the competitive Global Economic Symposium at the Boston Federal Reserve. Five World of Money teams took a 12-week educational journey culminating in their qualifying for the competition. Competing before impressive judges against 17 teams from New York City, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the Team Cybercrime Fighters and Team AquaTech earned top honors for presenting oral and poster board research-based, economic solutions to international and regional challenges. Team AquaTech also won for best poster presentation. Rhode Island General Treasurer Seth Magaziner announced Rhode Island's statewide financial education initiatives.

Sabrina Lamb, Founder and CEO, World of Money, New York, whose students are participating in this forum, emphasizes, "We cannot allow a zip code to define our students' educational experience or what they are capable of contributing to our state, nation, and global community. This one example of student-centered, cross-state collaborative work can be scaled — resulting in future authentic learning experiences with academic, civic, and industry partners." Their excellent placement at the Global Economic Summit is a true testament to their 12 week preparation, training and education.

Team Cybercrime Fighters: Rebekah Givan, Giselle McCraw, Isabella Gonzales

Team AquaTech:  Ifayola Adewole, Kaila Dula, Folesade Adewole
