40+ famous Classical tunes played as rock, pop, jazz and more

An amazing Classical crossover album series by an Australian musical artist

TOOWOOMBA, Australia - Jan. 21, 2019 - PRLog -- Can you imagine hearing Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" played with two electric guitars, electric piano, drums and electric bass?  How about Vivaldi's Winter theme from his "Four Seasons" played as an ambient smooth jazz track?  Or even JS Bach's "Air on a G string" played as a chilled out rock guitar solo?  This is all possible now with about 40 other tracks on the three album Classical crossover series entitled "Classical Made Modern".
The "Classical Made Modern" series features the famous compositions of Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert, Schumann, Dvorak, JS Bach and many more performed in contemporary styles of rock, jazz, hip hop and more.  You'll even find hints of reggae and country music in the collection, meaning there's something here for every music fan.  Even though all of the tracks have been performed in the last few years, some of the compositions used actually date back as far as 300 years ago.  The amazing thing though is that these Classic compositions have been realized as entirely new pieces of music as they are performed in modern genres - inconceivable by the original composers.
The album series comes at a timely moment as audiences appear to be listening to Classical music less and less.  The "Classical Made Modern" series can be employed as both an easy-listening, educational and marketing tool to encourage younger generations to appreciate Classical music in a new light.  It can do this by showing that the rich melodies and harmonies of Classical music speak down through the ages and can be loved and appreciated by whole new generations of young people.  As they become more familiar with the music they may be more inclined to search out this wonderful music in its original forms.
Another amazing facet of this album series is that most people will recognize the melodies of the titles on the albums from hearing them on movies and from other incidental music they may have heard, even though they will probably not be able to recognize the music from their named titles like Chopin's "Prelude in E Minor, Opus 28, No. 4" or Rachmaninoff's "Prelude in C Sharp Minor, Opus 3, No. 2".  The fact that most people recognize the great themes of Classical music is a testament to how prevalent and powerful Classical music really is, even though many people don't actively seek it out for listening pleasure.
The "Classical Made Modern" series was created by an Australian musical artist David Mulliss.  The albums are available on separate albums entitled "Classical Made Modern" (the debut album), "Classical Made Modern 2" and of course, "Classical Made Modern 3" which came out in 2017.  The three albums are available from Apple Music, Amazon Digital Music, Google Play and other online music stores. There is a web site featuring the albums at https://www.classicalmademodern.com and the web site is well worth a visit if only to have a quick listen to this unique collection of music!
