WINDERMERE, Fla. - Jan. 18, 2019 - PRLog -- IAOP® today announced it has chosen WarnerMedia and Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) as its annual Global Excellence in Outsourcing (GEO) award winners. Team members from WarnerMedia and GTA will be honored for the 2019 GEO Award for Innovative Practices in Creating Value from Collaborative Relationships during IAOP's annual Outsourcing World Summit, taking place February 17-20, in Orlando, Florida.

Teams from WarnerMedia and GTA will each present their award-winning submission to conference attendees during the event, which will include hundreds of professionals from around the globe. In addition, IAOP and its Academic Alliance Partners will create a mini case study of each winning submission so others may benefit from their success.

"WarnerMedia and the team involved are humbled to be selected by our peers for this prestigious award," said Alan Arenson, Director of Global Sourcing, WarnerMedia. "This award reflects the vision, planning, execution and dedication of all of WarnerMedia and not just the team being honored. Without the partnerships developed, both internally at our Divisions and with our providers, none of the successes achieved would have been realized."

"My team and I are extremely honored to receive this award from IAOP, especially since the focus is on innovation and creating value from collaborative relationships," said Dean Johnson, Chief Operating Officer, GTA. "We launched the Georgia Enterprise Technology Services (GETS) program just a little over a decade ago. Today GTA runs a highly effective, dynamic operation that leverages a multisourcing service integrator along with a variety of service providers that consistently deliver quality services in a timely manner. I'd like to thank IAOP for recognizing us as a global leader in the outsourcing space, and I celebrate with my entire sourcing management organization and thank them for the hard work they have invested in becoming the premier IT service broker for the state of Georgia."

Don't miss this unprecedented opportunity to attend OWS19 and hear, first-hand, how WarnerMedia and GTA are leading the effort to make their companies more successful through outsourcing and collaborative relationships. To attend the 22nd edition of IAOP's annual conference, visit IAOP's website. Both teams will be honored during a special luncheon award ceremony at the event.

"In the nine years of the GEO Award, we have continually raised the bar for nominees by establishing tougher qualifying criteria, which makes the 2019 winners truly exceptional," said Bill Hall, Partner, Pretium Partners and Chair of the Judges Panel. "We're proud to recognize and showcase the teams from WarnerMedia and GTA who have creatively and effectively broken new ground with their excellent work."

IAOP started the award program to distinguish outsourcing professional teams at customer organizations who have created innovative solutions and delivered great results for their companies.

"I'm particularly excited to recognize this year's GEO winners, as the award has a fresh focus on innovation and the value created through collaboration," said Debi Hamill, IAOP's CEO. "We like to say that an organization is only as strong as its partnerships, and that is nothing short of true for the teams from WarnerMedia and GTA. Congratulations to these true pioneers and thank you for telling your story so that others may benefit from it."
