American Medical Depot Announces New Board Appointments

 
MIRAMAR, Fla. - Jan. 17, 2019 - PRLog -- American Medical Depot (AMD) today announces the appointment of Steve Nielson and Steve Inacker to the AMD Board of Directors.

Mr. Nielsen has a deeply successful background in the highest leadership positions, including as Chief Executive Officer of Laboratory Supply Company (LABSCO), the nation's largest privately held supplier of diagnostic instrumentation and clinical lab products.  Prior to that, Nielsen was the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Activus Healthcare Solutions, a distribution company specializing in the sales of medical and surgical disposables to the Alternate Site Provider market. From 1984 to 1999, Mr. Nielsen held senior management positions with McKesson General Medical (previously General Medical), most recently as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer with responsibility for $1.7 billion in annual sales. He also served as Executive Vice President/General Manager for Bergen Brunswig Medical/Surgical, a $160 million medical/surgical products distribution products company, from 1982 through 1984. Mr. Nielsen is a U.S. Army Veteran and has served on various boards and committees, including as a Trustee at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia.

Mr. Steve Inacker serves as President of Oncology Services International, Inc., a position he has held since 2018. Mr. Inacker has served as the President of Hospital Sales and Services at Cardinal Health, Inc. and as the President of Channel Management - Medical Segment. Mr. Inacker held responsibility for sales, marketing, services and operations of the acute and non acute distribution businesses within the Medical Segment of Cardinal Health. Mr. Inacker served as President of the Clinical/Procedural Division within the Medical Segment, was responsible for the Presource Products and Services and the Clinical Apparel/Patient Protection (CAPP) business units. He served as Executive Vice President of Global Supplier Services for the Healthcare Supply Chain Services sector of Cardinal Health, and was responsible for the direct spend and vendor relations for the branded pharmaceutical, medical-surgical, consumer health, Presource and manufacturer services businesses. Mr. Inacker joined Cardinal Health in 1992 as a sales representative for the Converters/Custom Sterile manufacturing business, moving into management and consulting positions of increasing responsibility. Mr. Inacker was region director for the Hospital Supply distribution in the upstate New York market and was then named vice president of sales operations for Presource. Mr. Inacker then rejoined the distribution organization as vice president of distribution technology where he was responsible for the facility design, infrastructure planning and warehouse management system functions of the US Distribution network. He was then promoted to president of the Midwest Region where he oversaw sales and operations for Hospital Supply's largest Presidential Region, including 11 distribution centers supporting all channels of service in 10 states. He earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Lock Haven University.
