Engelheim Vineyards Earns Winery Of Distinction Award in the 2018 Georgia Trustees Wine Competition

ATLANTA - Jan. 17, 2019 - PRLog -- (Ellijay, GA, December 17, 2018)  — Engelheim Vineyards earned the Winery of Distinction award for the consistent high quality of their estate grown wines at the 2018 Georgia Trustees Wine Competition.  This award recognizes the Georgia vineyard and winery that produces consistently outstanding, quality wines out of over 60 wineries in the State of Georgia.

Gary Engel, owner of Engelheim Vineyards, said, "We are truly blessed to be recognized as the Winery of the Year for Georgia".  With this competition being the premier wine competition in the Georgia, we are truly thankful to have earned such a prestigious honor for Engelheim.  The competition was conducted at and hosted by Kennesaw State University.  The awards were presented at a recent banquet held on campus at the University of Georgia.

The Georgia Trustees Wine Competition received approximately 250 entries from more than 60 vineyards located in Georgia.  The Georgia Wine industry is seeing rapid growth and the quality of Georgia wines are achieving significant national recognition.
