Downtown Board Presents Award to Love Livermore

LIVERMORE, Calif. - Jan. 16, 2019 - PRLog -- Founders of Love Livermore, Nicole Nicolay and Robyn Annicchero, awarded "Promotion Partner of the Year" by Livermore Downtown Inc.

Two former teachers turned local REALTORS school their community on a better way to communicate both online and offline.

Nicolay and Annicchero have a lot in common. They were both educators, they are moms, they are friends, they are REALTORS, and they love where they live. They were also looking for a positive forum to connect with other locals, as well as share and find experiences unique to the Livermore area.

They didn't find what they were looking for, so Nicolay and Annicchero launched Love Livermore (http://www.lovelivermore.com), a group focused on sharing the people, places, and experiences in Livermore that they love.

"The mission is simple, be positive and tell us what you love about living here. We model this communication in our Facebook group and invite others who have joined to do the same." adds, Annicchero.

What started as group (http://www.facebook.com/groups/lovelivermore) has turned into a movement with over 9000 members in just 10 months. The YouTube channel is taking off as well with over 60 video webisodes highlighting a person, place or experience each week.

Nicolay, who has a background in digital marketing, explains, "Everyone wants to love where they live, but to do that we need to feel connected as a community. So Robyn and I help connect our community with the stories of the people and places that are found here."

For the past year they have been partnering with local businesses and offering to tell their stories through video. Love Livermore has promoted 40 local businesses via the Livermore Bucket List video series. People going above and beyond to help others in the community are highlighted in a special series called Livermore Inspiration.

In a time where negativity is easy to find, Nicolay and Annicchero are choosing to lead with love and create connectivity both online and offline in the Livermore community. This mission has been welcomed by citizens, community members, and local leaders. On January 15, 2019, the Downtown Livermore Inc. honored Love Livermore by presenting them with "Promotion Partner of the Year".
