And they offer higher security and lower risk of an app crash since if one service fails the whole app will keep working. In a monolithic architecture, if a single component fails, it can cause the entire application to fail.

If we stick to the point of how it can benefit your business the main benefit is convenience and bigger amount of services offered for your customers. Of course, there are still transactions and operations that can't be executed online but let's not forget about today's value of time and how these online banking apps are useful for us.
