Shields Chiropractic Grows Steadily

SAGINAW, Mich. - Jan. 7, 2019 - PRLog -- Shields Chiropractic has been experiencing increased popularity among the residents of the Saginaw and Bay Region. To help address the increased demand, the Shields Chiropractic team has decided to hire an additional Associate Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Lisa Michaels.
Dr. Michaels is a Saginaw native that earned her undergraduate degree in sociology from Saginaw Valley State University. Prior to continuing her education, Dr. Michaels worked in the mental health field as a case manager, working with children and adolescents. She attended Palmer College of Chiropractic and obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2015. During her time at the fountainhead, Dr. Michaels was nominated for the Clinical Excellence Award, a prestigious award given to students that show outstanding clinical skills with their patients.
After graduating from Palmer, Dr. Michaels acquired a practice in Wilton, a small town located in Iowa. She practiced for three years prior to moving back to Davenport, Iowa to teach at Eastern Iowa Community College and open a clinic. Dr. Michaels is a family chiropractor, specializing in children and women.
