Mining Cleantech Challenge Announces Call for Applications

Market-driven showcase connects clean technology to global mining organizations

LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Jan. 24, 2019 - PRLog -- The Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) is now accepting applications for the third annual Mining Cleantech Challenge (MCC), a market-driven showcase to be held in Denver, Colorado on March 21, 2019.

For the third year, CCIA is hosting the Mining Cleantech Challenge in partnership with mining leaders from across the globe. The MCC provides targeted connections between mining industry operators, OEMs and clean technology solution providers with the goal of meeting industry's needs while introducing innovative cleantech solutions to the marketplace. Companies selected for participation in the program have the opportunity to present directly to industry representatives and the winning company receives a cash prize.

"We have found that an inclusive approach to clean technology innovation is the best path forward for tackling challenging resource issues," said CCIA executive director Shelly Curtiss. "The mining industries have a vested interest in incorporating innovative clean energy and clean technology solutions into their operations and we are pleased to act as a connector to businesses across the cleantech industry. "

CCIA partners for this program include Newmont, Fresnillo, Ausenco, Jolimont Global, Resource Capital Funds, Consulate General of Canada, Rocky Mountain Institute, Colorado School of Mines and Clareo.
