Greenfinch Technology office moves to facilitate expansion

DUBLIN 2, Ireland - Jan. 2, 2019 - PRLog -- As we wrap up 2018, it's safe to say it's been one of the busiest years yet for Greenfinch. The company is both expanding and investing in itself – multiple new employees have been hired throughout the year and December involved a move to new offices located in the city centre. 2019 will be kicked off with a larger team, and a larger (and much brighter) office!

After over 9 years based in The Docklands Innovation Park, it was time to start a new chapter and move on to bigger and better things. The new Greenfinch offices are located on 40 Westland Row, right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Dublin city centre. A larger space now comfortably accommodates the growing Greenfinch team, which now counts over 40 people.

After a busy 2018, including projects with companies such as RCSI, H&K, eSports Gold and Keelings Solutions, we can take a moment to reflect on some of the technical problems solved and the opportunities for improvement that lie ahead. Working closely with Microsoft in 2018, particularly their Xamarin mobile platform and their massive Azure Cloud infrastructure have given us the opportunity to realise opportunities that we couldn't have 2 or 3 years ago. A decision back in 2015 to invest time and money into the incredibly powerful Xamarin platform (before Microsoft acquired them) continues to reap rewards as it enables us to provide beautiful, powerful, secure Native Apps faster and cheaper than our competitors. Achieving the honour of the first Irish-headquartered company to become a Xamarin Premier Consulting Partner has positioned us favourably.

Our team is eager to see what challenges we face in the year ahead, and excited to learn as we overcome these. As always, our genuine passion for software and dedicated and talented team have carried us through. It is great to be able to say that we are extremely proud of the work we have done and everything we have achieved in the last year. 2019 is looking very promising for Greenfinch (at least from the comfort of our new headquarters!).
