Daystar's Christmas Lights Display: "Bigger and Better Than Ever"

DALLAS - Nov. 20, 2018 - PRLog -- There's always something new to discover at Daystar Television Network's annual holiday lights display, opening Nov. 23 and running until Jan. 4 on the network's property at 3901 Highway 121 Bedford, TX 76021.

In 2017, the newly added Christmas Town, an area solely dedicated to inspiring awe and wonder in children by bringing in their favorite characters, drew a record-breaking 31,000 visitors to Daystar. This year, the Dallas-Fort Worth community can experience even more festive details, like the social media-inspired "#DaystarChristmas" sign inviting everyone to capture and share holiday memories, as well as unique decorative snowflakes and pink LED lights that bring the total count to well over one million Christmas lights.

These new additions join other favorites, including the life-sized nativity scene, an 8-foot interactive "JOY" sign, and Daystar's Scratch Café, which will open again to serve holiday treats, like coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies.

Adding even more opportunities to make holiday memories, visitors can also gather to take photos with Santa Claus when he visits each night, Dec. 14-15 and Dec. 19-21, with a special reading of the Christmas story on Dec. 21.

Everyone is welcome to experience Daystar's Christmas lights display and holiday attractions. Over 100,000 cars drive by the network's international headquarters each day. By continuing to add innovative attractions, offer opportunities to create social media moments, and take pictures with Santa, Daystar hopes even more people will make this a holiday tradition as they spend time with family and friends this Christmas season.

Daystar's Christmas Town and the "#DaystarChristmas" and "JOY" signs will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekends. The rest of the property's lights, including the life-sized nativity scene, will be open every day from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Scratch Café will be open Fridays and Saturdays, Nov. 30-Dec.15 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and every night Dec. 17-18 and 19-21 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pictures with Santa will be open Dec. 14-15 and Dec. 19-21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a special reading of the Christmas story Dec. 21 at 7 p.m.
