Veterans Compassion Program Helps Hundreds in Oregon

ASHLAND, Ore. - Nov. 12, 2018 - PRLog -- Breeze Botanicals, health conscious dispensaries of sustainable, plant-based products, celebrates four years of their Compassion Program this Veterans Day, November 11th.  In keeping with Breeze Botanicals' mission and to address one part of the cost problem, the Compassion Program is available to those with:

• SNAP/Oregon Food Stamps
• Veterans:  proof of having served in the Armed Forces of the United States

The program all started when it became apparent to store founders Brie Malarkey and Jon Cunningham that many Oregon Medical Marijuana Patients (OMMP) who were veterans were in need and unable to afford quality cannabis, so a compassion box was started on Veteran's day in 2014. Although originally started for veteran's the compassion program has now been expanded for all ALL Veterans and low-income OMMP patients (defined as those with a SNAP card) in need can come into one of the Breeze Botanicals locations and receive one FREE item out of the box, per day. Items may be flower, capsules, cartridges, topicals, and more.  No purchase necessary.

In addition, the Veterans Program offers ten percent (10%) savings to medical veterans everyday plus choosing one free item from the Compassion Bin.  Recreational customers who are veterans save five percent everyday plus choosing one item from the Compassion Bin at fifty percent off.
