Jaded Jane Releases New Album 'Salvation'

GOTHENBURG, Sweden - Oct. 23, 2018 - PRLog -- Two brothers, Axel Jane Olsson, and Adam Jane Olsson have been making music together since childhood as Jaded Jane. On November 17 they release their latest album 'Salvation' which explores the soundscapes of consciousness.

Legendary sound artist, Åke Linton, produced the album. They consider him to be the third member of Jaded Jane. Later that evening the introspective pop duo will perform live at the prominent music club Nefertiti in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Three singles on the album unite to form the musical trinity creating an original modern pop suite. "It is meant to be enjoyed as a meditative yet dynamic, powerful whole." Axel Jane Olsson said.

"The first single 'Ethereal' is about the pain of being ignored and unrecognized as an artist and as a human being. Then you must lift yourself above your ego and become one with the ethereal beauty of true music and nature.

It's a song about feeling like you don't matter, searching for a place where you feel you belong, with people who recognize and appreciates you. That there is a way to lift yourself above the pain and the mundane to find something ethereal." Olsson said, "The beauty of nature and profound emotions of music at it's best helps us to cope with life and even transcend it."

'Salvation', the second single, is about being reborn through fire, metaphorically speaking, to find a way out of the darkness by following the light of whoever or whatever it is you love.

The third single 'Another World' is a song of few words because we believe that music is beyond words. Perhaps it is the hope of another world where justice and equality reign for all living beings, or to find another world within yourself where you are free. The choice is yours," he said.

Jaded Jane's mission is to work for a better society through their music and artistic work. The duo coined expressions of 'Fair-trade Music', 'Ignorance Separates', Music Unites' and 'Music is Salvation'.

The Olsson brothers grew up in the Gothenburg suburb of Hammerhill, Sweden. Jaded Jane lived in New York off and on for 10 years while performing and producing music with artists Mike Stern, Frank McComb, and K. J. Denhert. They have toured Europe extensively.
