Beach Front Grille to Host Vets Fest November 9th, 10th and 11th in Flagler Beach

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. - Oct. 18, 2018 - PRLog -- .Jamie Bourdeau, owner of Beach Front Grille in Flagler Beach, is pleased to announce that the restaurant will host a veterans appreciation weekend - "Vets Fest" on November 9^th, 10^th and 11^th. The restaurant and festivities will be located at 2444 South Ocean Shore Blvd in Flagler Beach.

"Words cannot express how grateful we are to our veterans for their sacrifice and service," said Jamie. "We want this weekend to be all about them," he added. "We've also just completed construction on our brand new covered patio that overlooks the ocean, so we are excited about debuting and utilizing it for this event," said Jamie.

The weekend celebration will kick off on Friday, November 9^th with live music by Southern Chaos from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Taps, the distinctive bugle melody played at U.S. military funerals and memorials and as a lights-out signal to soldiers at night, dating back to the American Civil War, will be played at 7:00pm Friday night as well. A portable stage will be set up in the parking lot and all musicians will perform from the 18ft by 24ft stage.

On Saturday the 10^th, there will be live music by Stick Shift Cadillac from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and Easy Street from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Reveille, a bugle call, trumpet call, drum, fife-and-drum or pipes call most often associated with the military and prisons, chiefly used to wake military, will be played at 10:00am. Taps will also be played at 7:00pm. And there will be special recognition for the Marines marking their 243^rd birthday.

Sunday the 11^th, Reveille will be played again at 10:00am. There will be a free chow line to all military veterans. Performer Robbie Litt will play from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Veteran's organizations are invited to have a table/booth at the event at no cost. Those interested in participating are asked to call the restaurant at 386-693-4839.
