Not-For-Profit Organization Makes CT Homeownership a Reality

GREENWICH, Conn. - Oct. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- FundMyHome.org, an established not-for-profit, is expanding into Connecticut and offering some exciting new homeownership opportunities for individuals and households making up to $139,000, depending on location. For many who work hard, save, and have good credit, yet still can't afford all the upfront costs associated with buying (down payment, closing costs or prepaid items), this program will allow you to buy a home with $0 or little out of your pocket.

FundMyHome.org will help secure up to $25,000 in down payment assistance, help in the search, selection, and negotiation for the purchase of a home, and renovate the home. The buyer then closes on the home and moves in. In addition, buyers will receive discounted mortgage loans and tax credit incentives.

This program is eligible to first time home buyers or anyone who has not had an ownership interest in a primary residence over the past 3 years. A credit score of 580 or higher is required. The home can be purchased anywhere in Connecticut.

To get the journey started, FundMyHome.org has two upcoming "grant seminars" where buyers will be able to begin the process. These seminars will be held on October 20, 2018 at the following times and locations:
