The buyer then closes on the home and moves in. In addition, buyers will receive discounted mortgage loans and tax credit incentives. This program is eligible to first time home buyers or anyone who has not had an ownership interest in a primary residence over the past 3 years. A credit score of 580 or higher is required. The home can be purchased anywhere in Connecticut. To get the journey started, FundMyHome.org has two upcoming "grant seminars" where buyers will be able to begin the process.
