American Medical Depot Awarded Multi-Year Department of Defense Contract

MIRAMAR, Fla. - Oct. 1, 2018 - PRLog -- The U.S. Department of Defense has announced that it has awarded American Purchasing Services LLC, doing business as American Medical Depot, a maximum $49,500,000 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for hospital capital equipment and accessories. This competitive contract award win provides major capital equipment and related supplies to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), which includes the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.  The Department of Veterans Affairs has also stepped up its utilization of this contract vehicle.  The five-year contract has a commencement date of September 20, 2018 with a completion date of September 19, 2023.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
