Annual Holiday Shopping Event to Benefit FreeStore FoodBank

CINCINNATI - Sept. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- Hundreds of local ladies will be shopping for everyone on their "nice list" at the annual Seasonably Chic Showcase. Hosted by Cincy Chic — the only online publication for women in Greater Cincinnati — the event will feature 40+ local businesses, boutiques and makers. The event takes place November 17 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The Phoenix downtown.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned good for the Freestore Foodbank for free entry, a swag bag and complimentary gift wrapping. On-site childcare and crafts will also be available.

"Of all the events we host throughout the year, this one is my favorite," says Cincy Chic publisher Amy Scalia. "You can support local businesses as you get the gifts you need for everyone on your holiday shopping list, and it benefits the Freestore Foodbankat a time of year when they need it most."

The Freestore Foodbank responds to the issue of poverty and food insecurity in the community and provides an array of services aimed at creating self-reliance. "Every day, over 80,000 children are among the 270,000 people in our region who are at risk of hunger," says Sarah Cook, Freestore Foodbank Public Relations Specialist. "We truly value Cincy Chic's continued support as we work to get food to people who need it. Together, we can solve hunger and help keep our communities healthy and strong."
