Wizio Captures VR Content for 5% of Boston Apartments on the September 1st Move-in

BOSTON - Sept. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- Real estate technology startup, Wizio (http://www.wizio.co/), has capitalized on the September 1st turnover in Boston, collecting 360 photography for hundreds of properties throughout the city. Nearly 80% of all apartments in Boston turnover from August 31st to September 4th, largely due to the 152,000 college students that begin class every fall.

Wizio partnered with some of the largest real estate brokerages and property managers in the city to create virtual tours (http://www.wizio.co/demo) of their units during this short period. Conquering this operational challenge, an undisclosed number of Wizio photographers navigated the city to increase Wizio's database to more than 5,000 unique apartment listings, representing over 5% of Boston's rental market.

"Wizio's virtual tours are the next technological step for high-demand rental markets. Their content allows our clientele to save time, view more properties, and ultimately secure the best unit for their needs in the most efficient manner," said Dave Monheit, Partner at Encore Realty.
