Local Non-profit launches Alcoholism Program that aims to reduce deaths and arrests related to DUI

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Sept. 1, 2018 - PRLog -- The mission of The DUI Institute is to provide education, counseling, and awareness to individuals and families about the impact, and underlying issues associated with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The organization combines prevention and intervention efforts while utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance conscious decision-making. The program utilizes Moral Reconation Therapy [MRT] as its core therapeutic model. MRT is recognized by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration [SAMHSA] as an evidence-based practice as well as by numerous official governmental agencies and treatment authorities as a best practice. The model is a systematic, cognitive-behavioral, step- by-step treatment strategy designed to enhance self-image, promote growth of a positive, productive identity, and facilitate the development of higher states of moral reasoning.

The organization is led by Executive Director, Ahmad Bryant, a Certified Addiction Professional with over a decade experience operating treatment programs.
