Everyone that is, except Ben, a popular conspiracy podcaster in Australia, Sloane, a marine stationed in Thailand, and Jenny, a teenager just trying to survive high school in San Francisco. After being collected by a secret government organization, Ben and Sloane quickly realize that the dreams are far worse than some global science experiment— it's an alien invasion," Kramer added. "It's a race against time for the guys to escape and find Jenny, for within the dreams they've discovered a being that might hold the key to saving their planet. If it isn't already too late," Said Katie Masters. "I chose to publish with Pandamoon because they are basically the coolest thing invented since chocolate. Yes, they are that cool," Masters added. BEACONS is a welcome addition to Pandamoon Publishing's expanding catalogue of science fiction and fantasy that includes EVERLY by Meg Bonney and HELLO WORLD by Alexandra Tauber and Tiffany Rose. Katie Masters was raised in everything from a cottage in the woods, a tipi on a mountain, and a boat on the ocean. She spent most of her childhood reading, making up stories for free food, and drawing. She graduated as a sign language interpreter and studied several other languages. While she loved the thrill of rolling words around, she was unable to keep her imagination or characters contained and began doing what she'd always done: Write. She uses multiple genres and has published works in YA (Brenna Morgan and the Iron Key), fantasy (The Bone Dancer), as well as sci-fi. She has won awards for her short sci-fi story The Children of Tsitsi and is currently working on a number of projects. She currently lives in Tustin, California with a cat that thinks it's a dog and a horrifyingly large collection of tea cups and tea. She wishes she had more shelves for books and her collection of vintage photographs. Pandamoon Publishing focuses on publishing quality and unique fiction works and distributes them through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Ingram, as well as other book distributors and bookstores worldwide, including Powell's and Books-A-Million. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Pandamoon Publishing is dedicated to growing good ideas into great reads…one book at a time.
