Dynamic changes on horizon for Realtors Property Resource®

By: Realtors Property Resource
CHICAGO - Aug. 27, 2018 - PRLog -- Realtors Property Resource® (RPR®), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR®), announces dynamic changes to its internal structure and market engagement programs to increase its value to NAR members and streamline web and mobile applications to be more user-centric.

Following the lead of NAR, which performed its own realignment process to become more member-centric earlier this year, RPR has completed a broad end-to-end review of its market level systems, product delivery and organizational structures in order to better align with NAR's strategic plan. The results positioned RPR to increase its value to users, while reinforcing its essential relationships with its broad network of industry partners.

RPR Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Jeff Young says the analysis has revitalized the real estate data platform's commitment to providing REALTORS® with essential tools and features that will help them succeed in the marketplace.

"NAR CEO Bob Goldberg established a clear vision for the Association and RPR moving forward," said Young. "RPR's core mission is clear, ensure that REALTORS® remain essential to the transaction through access to tools, features connected to nationwide parcel-centric data and reports.  RPR's growth in the future will be driven by programs which refocus the RPR team to develop a deeper understanding of the daily life and business of agents and brokers."

Over the course of several months, RPR conducted internal assessments of its technical processes, organizational structures and strategic initiatives. As a result, the platform will reduce its overall staff count by 10%, allowing it to meet its 2019 budget directives, while reimagining its market level communications and support programs with its network of broker, MLS and association partners.

The new plan also offers a unique opportunity for RPR to restructure its senior management team to one more closely aligned with the user experience.

"Change is essential to long-term success but returning to our core basics and values is providing us with a fresh perspective," said Young. "The process of questioning what we do and how we do it has helped us refocus our commitment to member engagement."

Several teams have been realigned along in addition to the creation key positions, which include:
  • Janine Sieja will assume the role of senior vice president of product management. Sieja and her team will streamline RPR's development process, working closely with operations to simplify the user experience and increase adoption and user satisfaction.
  • Emily Line, RPR vice president of commercial services, will transition to vice president of member experience. Line will manage user feedback and testing programs to create a closer relationship between the evolving needs of residential and commercial agents and product planning.
  • Karen France will expand her responsibilities as senior vice president of market engagement. This group unifies RPR's market facing teams to provide a more holistic delivery of the platform's products and programs for specific industry sectors, including industry relations, broker services, training and programs, commercial services, MLS support, legislative resources and partner integrations.
  • Allen Wright will become vice president of operations, overseeing internal systems and data analytics, as well as business operations to expand on RPR's systems and reporting architecture.
  • Mark Suchy, RPR senior product manager, will be taking the role of vice president of Product Management and will be focused on assisting RPR in streamlining its product testing and release processes
With this new organizational structure and NAR's strategic plan for 2019, RPR's focus will build on the value for RPR users with the goal of increasing access to RPR's anytime and anywhere platform.

Young concludes, "The bottom line is, RPR's success will be measured by the success of its users and its ability to help them meet the challenges of ever changing marketplace.
