Comprehensive Benefit Administrators offers "Learn About the Real Cost Drivers of Health Insurance"
The September 13 program will be offered at the Boston Marriott Quincy. "Let's have a different discussion about healthcare..."
The seminar runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with an 8:30 breakfast check-in. Michael McKenna, Founder/CEO of Comprehensive Benefit Administrators, will lead the seminar. With more than 25 years of health benefit expertise, he says, "If we want to do something about healthcare costs, we need to learn about the real cost drivers of health insurance."
McKenna terms the presentation a "must attend" for anyone concerned about the spiraling costs of healthcare and how employers can mitigate the financial challenges associated with these costs. He says, "The cost of care in the United States is four times that of comparable systems worldwide. We all know that we have to do better – much better." McKenna has written columns addressing ways to help drive down healthcare costs, including more frequent use of the "second opinion" option where surgery is concerned, and an increased use of telemedicine. These, and additional healthcare savings options, will be discussed at the seminar.
In addition to reviewing hidden costs drivers of employer sponsored medical insurance, the presentation will include information on how employers can create a surplus that may help pay for future increases and benefit programs.
McKenna is a sought-after speaker on the topic of employee benefits; he has been featured in the Boston Business Journal, Banker & Tradesman, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) programs and interviewed by various business radio stations.
There is no cost to attend, but seats are limited. To be assured of a place, please RSVP to Kasey Southwick, firstname.lastname@example.org, by September 11 or sooner.
