LAS VEGAS - Aug. 22, 2018 - PRLog -- On August 14th, storytelling expert and animal advocate Sheryl Green released her second book, 'Once Upon a Bottom Line: Harnessing the Power of Storytelling in Sales', with a portion of the proceeds supporting animal rescue in Las Vegas.

"Story is the most powerful tool we have at our disposal when it comes to making sales and raising funds," said Green. "Knowing your 'Why', sharing your causes, and illustrating what you can do for the customer goes a long way to establishing trust and creating the emotional connection necessary to increase your bottom line. "

Sheryl Green is a writer and speaker, and serves as the Director of Communications and Cuddling for Hearts Alive Village. She has been working with businesses for over seven years, crafting their brand stories and communicating them to their existing and potential customers through website content, blogging, ghostwriting, and story coaching. In her spare time, she likes to hike, go to concerts, and spend time with her dog, Akasha.

Once Upon a Bottom Line is an easy to follow, practical guide for incorporating stories into sales and fundraising presentations, one-on-one conversations, and marketing materials.  The book addresses: the three stories you must have in your arsenal, how aligning your business with a non-profit may be the best decision you ever make, where to mine for 'story gold', and much more. Once Upon a Bottom Line will be available in both paperback and Kindle formats.  A percentage of the earnings from every book sold and every speaking engagement will be donated to Hearts Alive Village animal rescue.

Hearts Alive Village Las Vegas is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to secure loving and stable homes for dogs and cats at risk of being lost in the shelter system. Hearts Alive aims to keep pets in their original homes whenever possible through programs like Kendall's Kupboard (a pet food pantry), which gives pet owners access to resources like food, training, and veterinary assistance. They also provide Humane Education to youth groups throughout the valley, work with Veterans to adopt and care for emotional support animals, and offer community spay and neuter services to reduce pet overpopulation. "The proceeds from this book will make a real difference in the lives of animals in need," said Christy Stevens, founder of Hearts Alive Village. "We are funded entirely by the community and this support helps us save countless lives."
