Alzheimer's Association Partners With The Collection for Oxnard Walk to End Alzheimer's

OXNARD, Calif. - Aug. 28, 2018 - PRLog -- On Saturday, Sept. 29, the Ventura County community is invited to participate in the Oxnard Walk to End Alzheimer's, an event benefiting the Alzheimer's Association, to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's disease.

Over 14,000 people in Ventura County suffer from Alzheimer's disease, according to a media release distributed by the Alzheimer's Association California Central Coast Chapter.

The Collection at RiverPark has served as the local backdrop for the Oxnard Walk to End Alzheimer's for the past five years, and will once again unite a movement to reclaim the future for millions.

"The Collection team is humbled by the outpouring of support for those affected by Alzheimer's disease in our community," said Juliana Thiessen, Marketing Coordinator for The Collection at RiverPark. "We are proud to join the fight to advocate and raise funds for such a critical cause."

The Oxnard Walk is calling on constituents to raise $90,000 to fuel Alzheimer's mission-related initiatives of care, support and research.
