| Alzheimer's Association Partners With The Collection for Oxnard Walk to End Alzheimer'sThe Collection at RiverPark takes part in national event benefitting the Alzheimer's Association
By: The Collection at RiverPark Over 14,000 people in Ventura County suffer from Alzheimer's disease, according to a media release distributed by the Alzheimer's Association California Central Coast Chapter. The Collection at RiverPark has served as the local backdrop for the Oxnard Walk to End Alzheimer's for the past five years, and will once again unite a movement to reclaim the future for millions. "The Collection team is humbled by the outpouring of support for those affected by Alzheimer's disease in our community," said Juliana Thiessen, Marketing Coordinator for The Collection at RiverPark. "We are proud to join the fight to advocate and raise funds for such a critical cause." The Oxnard Walk is calling on constituents to raise $90,000 to fuel Alzheimer's mission-related initiatives of care, support and research. Event Information What: Oxnard Walk to End Alzheimer's at The Collection at RiverPark When:Sept. 29, 2018; Registration at 8 a.m., Ceremony at 9 a.m., Walk at 9:30 a.m. Where: Collection Park Join the Walk to End Alzheimer's and lead the way to Alzheimer's first survivor. The Oxnard Walk begins in Collection Park at 9:30 a.m. and commences at noon.
