5-Star Review for VERSA Earns Recommendation and "Seal of Approval"
CUMBERLAND, Wis. & TUCSON, Ariz. - Aug. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- The Earthquake VERSA™ Combination Tiller Cultivator received a 5-star review from Gardening Products Review (Tucson, Ariz.). The VERSA  features four front tines made of forged steel and can switch from wide, four-tine tilling to narrow, two-tine cultivating with simple, tool-less removal of its outer tines and shields. A trusted resource since 2013, Gardening Products Review  provides honest, unbiased reviews of a wide range of outdoor power equipment and other products used in the home garden. Every year, fewer than 30 percent of the products they test receive five stars and earn the "Seal of Approval."

"All the testers for Gardening Products Review have years of personal experience in gardening, landscaping and horticulture," said Kirk Hyatt, manufacturing engineering manager, Earthquake, the lawn and garden division of Ardisam, Inc. "Their objective reviews offer insightful and practical information on the products homeowners and micro farmers count on to get their work done easier and faster."

"Anyone who has a new yard or a garden with soil that needs to be broken up can save hours of otherwise back-breaking work with the VERSA," said Monica Hemingway, editor, Gardening Products Review. "Our tester concluded that its small profile and adjustable features make it a flexible and powerful addition to anyone's garden or small farm equipment."

The reviewer tested VERSA as a tiller and as a cultivator in different soil conditions. In a weedy area with dry, partly compacted soil, the VERSA as a tiller proved "easy to handle and turn. It moves forward with little effort once you engage the drive lever." To prepare a plot for a "vegetable garden that was highly compacted from foot traffic," the VERSA "made a quick and easy job of breaking some really hard ground."  After converting the VERSA into a cultivator for a garden bed "by removing the outer tines," the reviewer was "able to make two quick passes and loosen the soil for composting and growing cool-season crops."

The VERSA carries a 5-year limited warranty. As noted in the review, "this is one of the best warranties in the industry."
