WASHINGTON - Aug. 13, 2018 - PRLog -- Valuable information about how to access procurement opportunities at Fortune 500 companies was abundant at the country's largest and most established B2B conference convened by Pan Asian Americans—the 33rd Anniversary CelebrAsian Procurement & Business Conference.

Held from May 29 to June 1, 2018, at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland, CelebrAsian turned the spotlight on the transformative effects of today's technology-smart world on accelerated and robust business growth, challenges in talent acquisition and retention, and the application of innovative technology in various industries.

With the theme "Smart World: Business - Talents - Technology," CelebrAsian presented a strong line-up of programs and expert speakers who shared their invaluable insights and led in-depth discussions on opportunities to benefit minority-owned and other diverse businesses and suppliers.

PepsiCo Chairman & CEO Indra K. Nooyi served as the Conference Chair. She held a fireside chat with USPAACC National President and CEO Susan Au Allen to share her insights about being a visionary leader and described her journey from growing up in India to becoming Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo and the #2 "Most Powerful Woman in Business," according to Fortune magazine.

CelebrAsian is the annual national flagship event of the USPAACC (the U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation) and the nation's premier venue—through innovative, first-to-market and business growth-related programs—about procurement procedures and other business opportunities, innovation, and job creation for the more than two million Pan Asian American–owned businesses nationwide.

CelebrAsian attracted 20 Fortune 500 CPOs, CTOs, and CIOs, as well as hundreds of Pan Asian American business owners, suppliers wanting to connect with procurement opportunities, and marketing directors and managers of major corporations, large nonprofits, and government agencies. Washington, D.C.'s diplomatic corps, and trade officials were also well represented.

Corporate Co-Chairs included Bank of America, JPMorgan, Chase, Nissan, and Wells Fargo. Asian American Business Co-Chairs were Ampcus, Indotronix Avani, and Pyramid Consulting.

In addition to informative programs and high-level networking events, procurement opportunities were abundant, with about 500 prescheduled one-on-one business match-making meetings held between top-caliber Asian American suppliers and serious buyers from Fortune 1000 corporations, government agencies, and large national nonprofits.
