Baltimore Fashion Week returns for the 11th year
The runway shows for Baltimore Fashion Week are Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19, 2018. This year's event is also returning to the Columbus Center to deliver another great runway experience for its donors, sponsors, designers, models, and audience members. The theme "ART is ALIVE" will be visible during the workshops and designer runway collections.
Saturday, August 18, 2018, workshops for the tattoo lover at heart and the trendy thrifty shopper will take place. Imani K. Brown, owner of Little Inkplay Shop will be present at Noon to discuss the art of Kawaii, a Japanese tattoo art form located in Washington, DC. Then later that afternoon at 2 PM Liz Bowden, owner of Frederick Fashion Fix, a consulting firm in Frederick, Maryland will be present to show fashion trendsetters how to "Hack A Blazer' on a budget. Both workshops are free and open to the public – online registration is strongly preferred.
"We are truly excited about this year's event and the new direction it has taken. With the new direction in place, it has paved the pathway for next year's event which will be seven (7) days full of activities, fashion and fun. Honestly, I cannot wait." Stated Sharan Nixon.
