ATLANTA - Aug. 3, 2018 - PRLog -- Axis Replay, a new kind of entertainment and event venue for video gamers, eSports, and tech industry professionals, announces a partnership with Georgia State University's Panther Gaming Club. The partnership will provide tournament space and a central location for GSU gamers to get together to play.
"Our mission is to bring gamers together," said Allie Young, CEO of Axis Replay.
Club President, Hollace Bain adds, "The gaming community needs a location like Axis Replay to have a centralized location for us to get together. It's a perfect fit."
Axis Replay is building a social gaming club in Atlanta that will connect gamers, eSports enthusiasts, and tech industry professionals. The 12,000-square-
Panther Gaming is the official gaming club at Georgia State University that brings gamers together, regardless of game. Their purpose is to build a community of student gamers at Georgia State University. They are also a Tespa chapter, a network of college clubs founded to promote gaming culture and host the best college esports events and competitions.
Research released by the Entertainment Software Association in 2015 found that 54% of the most frequent gamers play with others and that 40% were playing with friends. Additionally, 53% of the most frequent game players feel video games help them connect with friends and family.
As an entertainment and event facility, Axis Replay will provide gamers with a place to socialize with other gamers while having access to a 10G connection, over 100 gaming systems, private gaming and meeting rooms, a bar and café, and more. Companies will be able to subscribe to creative co-working space for hi-tech conferences and networking. Weekly tournaments and new product demos are also planned.
"In an era of connectivity, we've never been so disconnected. Axis Replay is designed to connect gamers in a fun and social environment. Friends, family, business associates, and new acquaintances can spend their leisure time playing hi-tech games while eating, drinking, and having a good time," said Young.
