FlashGrid Azure Marketplace VMs are based on Oracle Linux or Red Hat Linux. FlashGrid solutions combine licenses for pre-installed FlashGrid software and FlashGrid infrastructure support plans. Pay-as-you-go billing through Azure Marketplace streamlines and simplifies the procurement processes.
FlashGrid's automated and repeatable deployment methodology encompasses all aspects of creating Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) from creating cloud infrastructure (VMs, storage, and optionally network) to installing and configuring FlashGrid and Oracle software stack.
The solution was recognized in an announcement by Microsoft that featured several new Azure pay-as-you-go government solutions from leading vendors.
"As public sector embraces cloud, the demand for database high availability in Azure is on a growth path. FlashGrid now offers government agencies a streamlined automated process for deploying and maintaining clustered databases in Azure Government Cloud. It takes around 90 minutes to create a fully configured fault-tolerant database, ready to accept high workloads with mission-critical SLAs," said Alex Miroshnichenko, CEO FlashGrid.
FlashGrid Inc. is a software company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. FlashGrid software allows enterprises and government agencies to run mission-critical databases on a commodity compute, storage, and network infrastructure of their choice – in the data center or in the public cloud.
FlashGrid is an Oracle Gold Partner, Cloud Standard, and a Microsoft Azure Certified solution provider.
