SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - July 21, 2018 - PRLog -- A Balanced Approach Counseling & Training Center, in San Luis Obispo, California, provides resources and high quality, small group continuing education (CEU) opportunities for licensed and pre-licensed therapists from all over California.

With well over two decades of clinical experience, Pamela Suraci, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, offers unique and energizing continuing education in a highly accessible way.  Known for her down-to-earth manner and engaging style, Pamela has created a method of teaching that allows participants real, hands-on experience with the information offered.

In providing the opportunity to "learn it, see it, do it", Pamela coaches therapists to apply knowledge and interventions in a way that adapts to each clinician's own, unique way of working.   With support and coaching from an experienced therapist, participants gain both competence and confidence that translates beautifully into work with clients.

An enthusiastic presenter, Pamela continues to offer innovative and insightful ways to support the therapeutic community in serving their clients.  The very popular "Equine Facilitated Insights for Therapists" is a one-of-a-kind experience that creates lasting change in clinical perspectives and practices, as well in therapist's self-care and self-awareness.

Pamela Suraci founded A Balanced Approach in 1997 in Santa Cruz California before transitioning to San Luis Obispo, CA in 1999.   She has provided provided a range of therapy services there ever since.  In addition to the original and outstanding continuing education (CEUs) classes offered, A Balanced Approach Counseling & Training Center also serves pre-licensed clinicians with special trainings and process groups.   Pamela serves as a "go-to" for case consultations and is a strong advocate for the therapeutic community.  She encourages workshop participants to create and maintain networks and relationships out of the collaborative groups found in her CEU classes.

Pamela maintains a private practice helping individuals and families, and as a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, is a specialist with couples.
