Rules included how to ask for items to be passed at the table and how they can use these skills to make new friends in their neighborhood or school. The Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) use their new community center to facilitate the growth of non-profits by offering the center's facilities free of charge to them. The center includes a conference room, café-style lounge, multi-purpose room and administrative offices. Refreshments are complimentary for non-profit and community events. Steadfast to their reputation of giving back to the community, CCV has helped over 150,000 families and children since their founding in 1992. Clemence Chevrot, the Center's Director, said, "We believe in what Mr. L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology Founder, said, 'A community that pulls together can make a better society for all.'"
