Adelphi Offers Pre-College Program to Prepare High School Students for a Promising Future

The programs for students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year in fall 2018 include:
• Business and Entrepreneurship
• Introduction to Digital Media Production
• Introduction to Video Game Programming
• Introduction to Nursing
• Psychology and Pop Culture
• Science, Technology and Art
• Exploring Musical Theater
Designed to develop academic, personal, and professional skill sets, these courses will supply opportunities for students to gain three transferable college credits, learn in state-of-the-
There also will be a Bridges Launch Program July 19-August 4 for incoming Adelphi students with autism spectrum disorder, a nonverbal learning disability, or problems with executive functioning or socialization.
Other options include the non-credit Sciences, Medicine and Health: Winthrop Summer Science Institute Day Program with two sessions: July 16-20 for commuter students and July 23-27 for residents.
