New revolutionary camera slider - TED: Tango Electronic Drive

NEDERHORST DEN BERG, Netherlands - May 30, 2018 - PRLog -- Unique in its kind and totally developed by Dutch owner Eric Steenvoorden in his Prosup development centre in Nederhorst den Berg (close to Amsterdam-Netherlands) and sold by Prosup's sales office Casu Granderath in Munich.

Fits on the Tango Slider

The TED can be retrofitted on the existing and successful Tango Slider System - appreciated for its smooth and stable shots due to the special wheels. The TED is equipped with an electrical drive. This allows cameramen to make even smoother captures, pre-set positions, time laps and use the Tango remotely by use of a hand control.

Gear Rack

With its unique gear rack (with our custom design tooth shape for even smoother movement) the TED will be one of the best motorized camera sliders available  due to its unique control over speed and direction. The gear rack will be available for all our existing rail lengths.

IBC Amsterdam

The first produced TED will be used at a big sports event this summer. Production has started and fulfilment is expected in July/August. The TED will be showcased at IBC – the International Broadcast Convention show at the RAI in Amsterdam from the 14th till the 18th of September 2018 at the Casu/Prosup (booth 12.C79)

New Website

About Prosup – Casu Granderath

The cooperation between Casu Granderath and Prosup started in 2012. Although both Eric Steenvoorden as well as Florian Granderath had a long history of more than 20 years in the camera support industry they had never met in person. It was Mr. Peter Koning (CEO for Eurogrip) that introduced Florian (at that time working at Panther) to Eric (ex employee of Egripment).

A match made in heaven

This combination has proven to be very successful. Florian with its great product knowledge and customer focus has since given valuable input to Eric who has translated wishes and customer feedback into actual products. It was Florian who suggested to start making a camera slider – which ended up in the production of the successful Tango slider.
