Karen Ann Carpenter is an extremely versatile author. She writes dark fiction for adults and light-hearted tales for children. While her fiction for adults can be filled with bleak images of death and despair, her children's stories are generally uplifting and humorous.
Karen also enjoys writing non-fiction. She has written extensively about the Jersey Shore, guiding visitors -- and locals -- to the countless treasures that New Jersey's magnificent coast has to offer. For several years she distributed her weekly column "Celebrate The Now" which highlighted the fact that every day is a holiday worth celebrating.
Karen's articles and stories for children and adults have also appeared online and in numerous anthologies and magazines.
