Women's Business Support Group to Launch East of the River

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. - May 9, 2018 - PRLog -- Believe, Inspire, Grow (B.I.G), is a women's empowerment group dedicated in helping women unlock their true potential and live the lives they are meant to live, is launching a local chapter (or "pod") east of the river on May 18th.  The pod will hold monthly meetings and networking events in the Glastonbury-East Hartford-Manchester area.  B.I.G (originally founded in Bernardsville, N.J. by Tara Gilvar in 2009) provides the inspiration, tools and community to help women become the best versions of themselves in safe environments that offer face-to-face support from like-minded peers.  To date, B.I.G has attracted nearly 3,500 members to the organization in more than 50 pods throughout Connecticut, New Jersey, New York City and Massachusetts.

"Women have talents and expertise to share, and the energy when women with aspirations work together is an unstoppable force that enhances their lives as well as their community," said Maryann Cruz, local entrepreneur and pod leader.

Using the power of positive peer support coupled with trend-setting information on topics essential to move goals forward, B.I.G. provides never-ending opportunities for members (entrepreneurs, leaders, professionals, and moms) to explore, develop and embrace the person she desires to be.

Maryann is looking forward to meeting the many women who are eager to pursue their goals/dreams, seeking to advance their career, or grow their business.  Her motivation in helping others comes through in her 2018 business ventures (as founder of a crowdfunding community and fitness/wellness coach).  Maryann brings more than 20 years of operational experience in roles such as a Strategic Project Lead, Accounting & Human Resources Manager, and Business Advisor.
