HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - May 4, 2018 - PRLog -- Matthew 25: 35-36 (KJV)
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Biblical teaching is clear.  Being an advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves, is part of our reasonable service as spiritual beings - taking care of the concerns of those who have been blacklisted. Their labeling attached for various reasons:  HIV/AIDS or other sexually transmitted illnesses, Drug Addiction, Prostitution, Human Trafficking, Homelessness, Alcoholism, Victim of Intimate Partner Violence, and the list goes on. Instead of being considered as those Christ would attend to amid the masses; they have become the masses that His followers ignore.

That is ... except for a powerful group of women in ministry who serve BEYOND THE PRETTY DRESS. Some might consider them bad girls, rebels, out of order, out of control and even - out of their minds. They use it as fuel for their fire and passion to help others.

Thomas Freeman Books, a Pecan Tree Publishing imprint, is asking you to NOMINATE THESE WOMEN (a small nomination fee applies). The first ladies, the ministers of music or other areas of ministries, the pastors, the deaconesses, the ushers ... The women who have rolled up their sleeves, held up the hem of their pretty dress, taken off their church hats and gotten their hands dirty for the cause of the ONE who needed their service.

The women nominated will be invited to submit the service story that has impacted them most, what it taught them about God and about who they are as vessels of ministry, and why going BEYOND THE PRETTY DRESS must be a mandate in this time.  Whether their service was to an abused woman, a molested child, a rejected man, a soul tormented by mental illness - we believe their stories will encourage and challenge others to follow their quiet lead like never before.

If selected, prospective nominees, must agree to a CONTRIBUTORS' AMBASSADOR  INVESTMENT.  Full details will be provided in a nominee packet. Nominations close May 26, 2018. Nominations may be made by visiting: https://beyondtheprettydress.weebly.com/nominate.html

A portion of every nomination and Ambassador Investment will be donated to Act on IT Guild, Inc. a South Florida based organization providing alternative therapy and healing through the arts.  The organization is founded by Playwright/Actress Tametria Harris and Freeman Thomas Books is proud to support this collaboration of arts and healing.
