Norman Bush Photo Exhibit Portrays Pre-Digital Era Social Media

ATLANTA - April 3, 2018 - PRLog -- The Bush Family Legacy will present a one-day exhibition of the unique artistry of street photographer, Norman Bush, supported by a conversation about the artwork's relationship to the culture and politics of the times. Titled "Post No Bills," the display will feature photographs that transport the audience through the streets of one of America's most intriguing cities over more than a half-century.  The atmospherically developed art is created from photographs of frayed pieces of posted notices and playbills plastered on buildings throughout New York City. The event is free to the public and will take place Sunday April 15, 2018 at The Gathering Spot 384 Northyards Blvd. NW, Bldg. 100.

Bush's creative photography documents "bill posting" as the social media of the pre-digital era where recurring social justice themes came to life on city walls.  His unique style produces an unparalleled multidimensional chronicle juxtaposing culture, politics and movement in the quintessential American city and brings the history of those neighborhoods alive for diverse intergenerational audiences.

The conversation with Bush will be moderated by prominent artist and cultural curator, Kevin Sipp. Directed by Ed Dessisso, the documentary is being produced by Cold Feet Films and TK8ITEZ Productions.
