Badger Sheet Metal Works celebrates 95th anniversaryThree generations of the De Caster family has led the metal fabrication specialist
Henry De Caster founded Badger Sheet Metal Works on the principle of providing customers with the highest levels of quality and service from its original Washington Street location in downtown Green Bay. Bernarr De Caster followed his father as company president, and Bernarr's son, Greg, is the company's current chief executive officer. Badger Sheet Metal Works remained in its original location only five years, soon expanding into a wider range of sheet metal products and necessitating a move into a larger building at 420 S. Broadway in 1930. The company consistently acquired additional equipment and technology over the years, eventually focusing on industrial and commercial applications. A custom-designed plant at 1410 Partnership Drive opened in 2008, and Badger Sheet Metal Works now employs approximately 100 people. Badger specializes in aluminum, carbon, and stainless steel fabrications ranging from sheet, plate and structural materials. The company has a dedicated stainless room for processing fabrications ranging from mill, 2B, #4, #8, and sanitary requirements. Badger also has multiple fabrication teams that specialize in bag houses, industrial ductwork, process piping, tanks, cabinets, shrouds and low volume fabrications.
