Raven Golf Club Continues to Uphold Environmental Certification with Audubon

SNOWSHOE, W.Va. - March 6, 2018 - PRLog -- Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe Resort is thankful to continue their Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses (ACSP) Certification this upcoming season. As a state and nationally recognized golf course, the Raven team works hard to ensure top-notch quality course conditions for their visitors.

The ACSP is an environmental education and certification program that works to help golf courses protect the environment and develop a plan for safeguarding all aspects of the game of golf. Their six key environmental components include Environmental Planning, Wildlife and Habitat Management, Chemical Use Reduction and Safety Water Conservation, Water Quality Management, and Outreach and Education.

With this certification, the Raven is able to continue to meet environmental management standards that demonstrate their leadership, commitment, and high standards for environmental management as a golf course.
