ONEder to Release New "Teacher Edition"
NEWARK, N.J. - March 7, 2018 - PRLog -- ONEder today announced the release of a new SAAS retail "Teacher Edition" of their award-winning platform. ONEder enables educators to deliver personalized lessons and lets them see real-time progress tied to their student's own, unique goals.
The "Teacher Edition," which is available as a 30-day free trial, and then costs either $14.99 per month or $149 per year, enables educators to:
Align Lessons with Goals and Standards: Educators will be able to download lessons from the ONEder library, which contains over half a million resources and an ever-expanding selection of pre-prepared lessons. Academic lessons are standards aligned, helping teachers to see student progress toward grade-level content.
Personalize Lessons: Educators will be able to create and deliver meaningful content by personalizing lessons according to each student's unique learning needs.
Automatically Track Student Data: Educators will be able to track data in real time and see how their students are progressing toward goals and standards. Data is collected automatically or manually—depending on the goal type—and instantly graphed, reducing overall workload and making it easier to adjust lesson plans.
Access and Share Reports: Educators will be able to present clear and organized reports to parents and administrators. ONEder's data dashboards make it easy to drill down and show how students are progressing.
Eliaz Shapira, Chief Executive Officer at ONEder, stated, "The new release will enable every teacher to apply the most advanced pedagogical methodologies in their classroom. The new ONEder Teacher Edition unites data with goals, and provides an experience for educators and learners that is both engaging and user friendly. Even the most tech-savvy educator finds the task of making data-driven decisions daunting, and any educator will tell you that data analysis is time consuming and must be approached in a strategic manner. The most important of these strategic approaches is the use of data to inform goals. It is my belief that, with tools like ONEder, the notion of the Individualized Education Plan found in special education can work for every student—not just those in the special education system."
ONEder advisory board member, and former Assistant Secretary of the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services in the U.S. Department of Education, Alexa Posny, says, "ONEder is an amazing product, that is already making an impact in schools nationwide. The fact that this powerful tool will now be available to every educator will change the landscape, and help bring us nearer to closing the ever-widening opportunity gap that we see in this country."
ONEder's platform is easy to use, and contains lessons and activities that can be quickly adapted, along with supports and accommodations tailored to the unique learning needs of the individual. Lessons can be differentiated with supports such as visual schedules, grid displays, visual scene displays, and more. As students complete activities, data is collected to show progress toward standards and goals.
ONEder was founded in 2011 by Jonathan Izak out of a need to develop a way to communicate with his non- verbal brother. Since then, the company has grown in size and vision. Today, ONEder is partnered with over 100 school districts, nationwide and each day ONEder's team use their decades of classroom experience to build on Jon's vision. Our goal? To develop new methods for ensuring that every student succeeds at school and in their post-school lives.
