Writers Resource Center Accepting Submissions for New Anthology; March 10th Deadline
Now's the time to get your short stories, poems and non-fiction testimonials published!
By: Writers Resource Center
"We're looking forward to getting some top quality, imaginative, engaging manuscripts from local and regional authors," says WRC Founder Janie P. Bess. "We're very excited about the prospect of getting our first collection of short stories, poems and testimonials published."
Works being considered for the book will be critiqued during Saturday's workshop and may be accepted immediately, if they fit the book's criteria and are formatted correctly. To request a copy of the formatting instructions and other submission guidelines, please contact Bess at email@example.com. Additionally, prior to the meeting, you may sign up online at www.wrcnoca.com to become a member.
The book will be published in October by Micah 6:8 Publishing, an independent firm owned by Wanda B. Campbell, an author of several books, vice president of WRC and one of its instructors. The project is part of the group's "Developing Authors Series," a program where writers are taught all aspects of writing, publishing and promoting their books.
Anyone attending the workshop should bring their own writing materials or devices and arrive early for best seating. For more information about WRC, its events and other activities, please visit www.wrcnoca.com .
