LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Feb. 20, 2018 - PRLog -- Shore Builders Association is pleased to announce several member successes at the recent International Builders Show (IBS) in Orlando, Florida, as well as member recognition from New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) during its Annual Industry Awards Luncheon held at the The Stone Terrace by John Henry's in Hamilton, New Jersey. "Every year during the month of January we have the amazing opportunity to celebrate our local association's member achievements at IBS & NJBA through a variety of award programs," explained Gina McNamara, Executive Officer of Shore Builders Association.

During the three day IBS in early January, several Shore Builders' members were recognized at various events at the show. The association would like to congratulate Rich Robinson of Member Rebate Program for receiving the 2017 NAHB "One to Watch" Award. In addition, Past President of the Professional Women in Building of the Garden State  (PWBGS) council, Giovanna Pergola of Meyers Research and current President of PWBGS, Georgette Kyriacou of FWH Associates, were recognized as finalists in the Professional Women in Building individual awards for Woman of the Year and One to Watch Awards, respectively. One of our builder members, Christopher Amato of CMM Custom Homes was part of the panel of experts at an educational seminar presenting a topic on technology for homebuilders. And, longtime Shore Builders member Dean Mon of MonGroup Properties was elected as the 2018 Second Vice Chairman of the NAHB, placing him in a position to become the future Chairman of NAHB. "It is a huge accomplishment and we are very proud to share our members' success at IBS this year. To have so many of our local members participating and succeeding at the national level in our industry is a testament to our exemplary members," explains Michael J. Kokes, President of Shore Builders Association.

Later in January, NJBA members from all over New Jersey gathered to recognize the achievements of members in our state's building industry. Shore Builders would like to congratulate its local members recognized by NJBA for their achievements and contributions to the state association, including:

Tony DiLodovico, Bowman Consulting Group – Silver Handshake Award
Christopher Amato, CMM Custom Homes – Associate Appreciation Award
Kristin Marzarella, All County Enterprises – Ironman Award

Tom Troy, Sharbell Development – Special Service Award
Henry J. Kelly, Jr., The Kelly Group – Preservation of the American Dream Award

Many of these award recipients will also be present at the upcoming Shore Builder's annual FAME Awards to be held on Thursday, March 8th at the South Gate Manor in Freehold. The awards event will feature a 2-hour cocktail networking reception and open bar beginning at 6:00 PM, followed by the presentation of the winners in all categories.
