OKC Native Brings Exciting Eco-Adventures to Digital Life for Toddlers

OKLAHOMA CITY - Feb. 13, 2018 - PRLog -- OKC native Jaynee Roberson Howe remembers her earliest explorations foraging through the outdoors and dining on dirt. Her parents were able to provide Jaynee with plenty of opportunities to explore places all around the country, fueling her natural curiosity and desire to explore. It is hardly surprising that Jaynee would want to bring the fun and excitement of discovery to others. As a mother in a much faster paced world than that where she grew up, Jaynee learned how hard it can be to schedule meaningful exploration into her son's experiences. Passionate about science and nature, it was natural to want to bring that into their family life.

In her professional world, Jaynee began to envision an adventure that would merge her technical skills and wonders of her beloved planet. She saw an opportunity to help other parents bring the joy of these discoveries to their children while advancing knowledge and appreciation for our world. She could use her experience and love for entertainment to bring a new opportunity. Along with friend turned Creative Director, Chuck Whelan, Jaynee set out with a goal to fuel children's curiosity and interest in the outdoors through creative play and technology. More, the pair wanted to bring high quality, meaningful content that provides science backed information and builds a solid base for understanding world relationships and the life cycle.

As education moves toward more interactive classrooms highly focused on STEAM education, there is a need to bring the preparation for that experiential digital learning to our children starting in the toddler years. Jaynee gushes enthusiasm as she talks about the opportunity to engage young families a new kind of exposure to science and nature. Jaynee says, "This is great for me too. I love working with the Scientists and Educators that work with us to deliver meaningful learning in a fun way.'

Different from many game developers, Geo Tots is a content company first. Their goal is to use technology as a tool rather than the primary focus of what the company delivers. Based on that, Jaynee and her team determined a course of content focused entirely on eco-education focused in game format, targeted with age appropriate delivery for the pre-school market. The company focuses on learning apps that will introduce as many habitats as there are in the world; from deep water experiences where children get to peek under rocks to exploring life above the tree line of snow covered mountains.

The company's first app BeeAmazed!® has been in production cycle and will be launching in a few weeks. Ms. Howe says the company has learned a lot about how preschoolers and parents want to use technology and the company has formulated the app to deliver just the kind of content parents want to see their children enjoy. Since Bees have had quite a bit of buzz in the science community in the past few years, Jaynee and Chuck put their imagination to use to create this first app. This allowed the team to create something substantial and timely packed with fun and information that helps both kids and parents grow their awareness of these amazing creatures and their importance to the life cycle for every being. Jaynee is adamant that everything her company produces will be "based in science and fueled by fun"!

Even as BeeAmazed ( https://www.geotots.com ) is launched in the coming weeks, the company is well on its way to unveiling their second app which will follow a brown bear on adventures through the North American forest. After that, Jaynee says there will be exploration even beyond the ends of the Earth. Geo Tots is going to Infinity and beyond!
