Local Business Owner Tim Young Elected to PPAF Board of Directors

PALM BAY, Fla. - Feb. 26, 2018 - PRLog -- Tim Young, Owner of Proforma Young & Company, a local printing and promotional company, has been elected to serve on the board of directors for the Promotional Products Association of Florida (PPAF). Young will serve on five committees including the Financial Committee, the Membership Committee, the Professional Education Committee, the Strategic Vision Planning Committee and the Expo Planning Committee.

"I am truly honored to have been elected to this board," said Young. "I see being on this board as a way for me to be more actively involved in the promotional products industry and as an avenue leading to better service for my clients. I believe this positon will allow me to increase my network and build new relationships with professionals in every aspect of the industry."

The Promotional Products Association of Florida is a non- profit trade association founded in 1972. The group has become one of the fastest growing regional associations in the country; serving promotional products professionals throughout the Southeast and Florida. PPAF provides educational events, networking opportunities, access to discounts on industry products and hosts the largest trade show in the country, the PPAF Expo.

Young is certainly no stranger to volunteering his time and energy to the community. In 2010 Young was a committee member on the United Way of Brevard Financial Allocation Board, and from 2008 to 2010 Young served as a Regional Alumni Executive Board Chair on the National Society of Black Engineering Professionals.
